Jen Easterly, Director of Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), brought up to 60 minutes recently that they are seeing Russian intelligence evolving for an immanent cyber attack.

CISA helps secure computer networks in 16 sectors critical to national security, such as energy, finance, and communications.

"Easterly is a decorated retired US Army vet with two bronze stars...a techie with serious chops," mentions Bill Whitaker of 60 Minutes. "A West Point graduate and a Rhodes scholar, she was part of the national security agency's lead hacking team and went on to help create the agency's cyber command."

Using social media, she's encouraging industries to share information with government to defend against cyber attacks. She's also reaching to individuals and advising them to update their devices while using multifactor authentication on computers and phones.
